Shopping and question about linking LJ to Facebook

Just wondering can you link up Live Journal to Facebook?  Been ages since I've been on here and so there might be a feature where you can link Live Journal to Facebook?  Looking forward to later on today as me and my girlfriend are going shopping.  Got to buy Becky's dad (my gf's Dad) a Birthday present since its his Birthday today and a card.  Also going to spend my £20 Forbidden Planet voucher to buy some Doctor Who goodies.  Also going to a shop which sells Cowboy boots and Becky is looking at getting some new ones.  Really have to go to bed since its nearly 4am here. :)

Wow its been years

Hello folks but its been quite a few years since I've used LiveJournal. Very excited that this year is the 50th Anniversary year for Doctor Who. Can't believe its finally here. I remember 10 years ago in 2003 I watched my first Doctor Who story in full which was Carnival of Monsters with Jon Pertwee. Will be going to two conventions this year with my girlfriend, Becky. Collectormania in Milton Keynes in May and NorCon (which is a two day event) in Norwich. There should be quite alot of Doctor Who celebrities at these events since its the 50th Anniversary year. Here is a photo of me with Sylvester McCoy from last years Collectormania, 2012:

And me and Nicola Bryant from last years Nor Con, 2012:

I always like this photo of me and my girlfriend from Nor Con last year:

I'm flabbergasted that the CO Seventh Doctor figure won't have Panama Hat

I have heard from someone that in Wave 2 the figure of the Seventh Doctor will be in the main stream version, but it will be without the Panama Hat. What is the main stream version anyway? And why on earth are CO going to make him without his classic Panama Hat. The Seventh Doctor always wore the Panama Hat on his adventures in the Televison Series. Of course they haven't done this for the Fourth Doctor, I mean he's lucky he gets two heads. Im sorry but it really bothers me. The Panama Hat is needed for the figure of the Seventh Doctor. Does anyone here agree with me? But the Seventh Doctor isnt really remembered for not wearing his Panama Hat is he? I mean I am happy that CO are producing a Seventh Doctor figure, its just I would really like it if he had the hat. For some reason he seems incomplete without his hat. If the figure is based on how he looked in Ghost Light for majority of the story please don't say that he's not going to have his trade mark question mark umbrella as well?

Isn't Donna Noble great?

When I first saw The Runaway Bride at Christmas 2006, I didn't think much to the character of Donna in Doctor Who. Now ever since I have seen Series 4 (Partners in Crime, The Fires of Pompeii) I think she is wonderful. I actually think she is a very successful companion. Catherine Tate is great in the role, and I look forward to seeing more of Donna in Series 4.

I saw Sylv and Soph and am going to Invasion on 1st March 2008

I saw Sylvester and Sophie today, and boy was i nervous. I was waiting in the queue sweating and was in a nervous state. Sylvester was very nice and signed alot of stuff which I brought along. I even brought a picture of me in my Seventh Doctor costume for them to sign. And yes I did get a picture taken with them both.

On the 1st March 2008 I am going to the Invasion Doctor Who convention. This will have Tom Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Sophie Aldred, Bonnie Langford. Avary I was wondering if you would like to come to this with me? I will be going with some other friends as well.

All in all a very good day.

I'm actually seeing Sylvester and Sophie this Saturday. YAY!!!!!!!!

Well this Saturday Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred will be doing a book signing in Upminster. I will be coming along to this. I am so looking forward to this event. I have never seen Sylv or Soph before and I will be incredibly nervous. I hope I don't faint or anything silly as soon as I see them both. I of course will be taking my digital camera, and I hope to get a picture of myself taken with Sylv and Soph. This is going to be one event I will never forget. I am going down with a friend and he is bringing along his daughter with him.

Avary I was wondering do you care to join us? The details about the event are below.

Announcing a new event for The U.K. Doctor Who Meetup Group!

What: 7th Doctor & Ace signing Day

When: Saturday, December 8, 11:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Hello faithful Whovians

the Roomes Stores in Upminster will be hosting a Dr.Who day on Saturday 8th Decamber between 11am and 4pm.

Those in attendance will be Sylvester McCoy who played the 7th Doctor, and Sophie Aldred who played his companion Ace. There will also be a Black Dalek and a replica TARDIS.

I haven't yet had to buy anything to get an autograph here, but they often do some sort of one day discount on related memorabilia.

As usual with the Roomes Doctor Who days, it will take place in the Fashion and Homeware Store toy department, and there is a cafeteria on the same floor where it is possible to retreat to some form of sanity away from the children clustering around the Dalek Smile

We'll be meeting outside Upminster train station at 11:00am and then head over to Roomes about half an hour later. The signings start about 11ish, but the queues at these things are rarely long.

Upminster is very easy to get to from London, either ride the District Line eastwards to the end of the line, or go direct from London Fenchurch Street (which takes 21 minutes).

If you've not come to one of our Doctor Who meetups, you'll be able to recognise me by the Jon Pertwee era TARDIS key I'll be wearing, and if that's too obscure here is a photo taken at a previous Roomes signing for identification purposes: http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/d/3/e/3/highres_1314243.jpeg

Doctor Who Sheercast Figures

Well since you can no longer buy the Sylvester McCoy Sheercast figurine, I have asked my dad to buy me the Patrick Troughton Sheercast figurine for my birthday present which is still being sold on this website.

http://www.jacarandacollectables.co.uk/drwho/drwho.htm

This is an ideal gift as these are no longer made, plus Patrick Troughton is my 2nd favourite Doctor.

I really wished they had the Sylvester McCoy one for sale and the closest I have got to having it is having a picture of one in a frame but I'm very pleased I've got the Patrick Troughton one.

Van Donovan I'm very sure you may have one of these figures.

I bought the Seventh Doctor jumper on ebay

Well since it got no bids, and its got the green trim at the bottom and a green trim pocket (which the one I already have hasnt got one) I have decided to buy the jumper. It looks alot better than the one I already have.

Seventh Doctor fans I did give you a chance to buy this, but since there were no bids I decided to buy it myself.
